SLCI in it's true sense is wholly committed and devoted to educating business owners about the challenges faced by them in compliance with Labour Laws.

The idea behind our vision is to bridge the gap between those who make the law and for those whom this law is made. SLCI ensures coordination between all stakeholders to ensure statutory compliances in time and always.

We aim at identifying numerous problems and challenges faced by the business owners in their day to day life, thereby raising their concerns to authorities to eradicate impediments, by educating and ensuring that compliance is seeded from the roots of the structure.

The rationale behind this is to cater practical solutions which can produce extraordinary results with easy and business friendly compliance.

Shakti Associates was founded for providing services on Labour Law compliances.

1990 to 1994

(Major Breakthrough)

The Ministry of Textile, Government of India, announced the policy of Exporter Entitlement Quota to incentivise the Garment Manufacturing Exporters to ensure Labour Laws Compliances.

During the period, we filed numerous applications on behalf of our clients, and it came off as a proud achievement for Shakti Associates, as all the applications filed by our office were approved in terms of Labour Laws Compliances and found for entitlement of Quota.

Shakti Educational & Cultural Society (Regd.) NGO was founded.

Our NGO in association with NCC Unit has been organising the expedition camps for Delhi University students in and around the Northern part of India since 2003.

2005 to 2007

During this period, the ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) Department was imposing a huge liability on Industries for JOB WORK. Due to this, there were major hue and cry among the Industries across India.

Shakti Associates played a pivotal role by convincing the authorities to constitute a committee to give its recommendation. These recommendations were submitted in the report, which resulted in a breakthrough. The scope of Job Work was now clearly defined & demarcated. It came as an enormous relief to the industry.

  • Shakti Associates was renamed as SLCI (Shakti Legal Compliance India).

SLCI initiated a new program (webinar series) to educate and empower Business Owners about the importance of Labour Law Compliances in the modern-day period.
